Jacksonville-based metalcore quintet Just Like Gentlemen released a new music video for their single “Whorecrux” earlier this week.
“Whorecrux” is featured on the group’s new album “Asylum,” which was recorded at Salt Lake City’s High Vibe Recordings by producers Stetson Whitworth, Stephen Rutishauser and Pablo Viveros. The release was mixed by Brian Hood at 456 Studios in Nashville and features a guest appearance by Chelsea Grin‘s Pablo Viveros on the track “Held in Contempt.”
Just Like Gentleman vocalist Caige describes the band’s new album as dark and intense.
“Each song is about real events and the consuming thoughts and emotions that came along with them,” he said. “There are no filters or censors on what you feel, and that’s what we tried to capture with this album.”
