For anyone hoping for a Five Eyes Wide return, be at BFE on March 25th. With the addition of Cody Hammock on drums; Stan West Jr., Alan O’ Bar, and Chris Conley are back and Five Eyes Wide is ready to blow your mind.
They have been hard at work on new material and are ready to kick ass and take names. The chemistry I have witnessed with these guys is hard to deny. They have been in a creative zone and you will not be disappointed.
Cody said he joined Five Eyes Wide for three reasons: Stan West, Alan O’ Bar and Chris Conley. He said he would have been stupid to pass up the opportunity. He really enjoys playing with these guys and it shows. I asked the other three guys what made them decide to come back. Stan spoke up and explained that they never really went “away” they just started a new and improved creative process. He says they have worked their asses off for almost ten years now to not only write and perform what they want to hear but also to hopefully inspire and invoke the same feelings and passion in others that they still continue to feel for loud, intense, and aggressive hard rock.
I’ve been able to get a sneak peek into the new material and I literally got chills. It is unmistakable Five Eyes Wide genius but more technical with seriously heavy beats and melodic overtones. Heavy, hard hitting new tracks make it hard to deny that they are back with a vengeance. Through chaos there is redemption.
Make sure you join them as they take the stage March 25th at BFE for Earl of Pitbulls and Parolees birthday bash with Sui Gordon joining us as a special quest host. The line-up includes Saving Abel, A Vow Unbroken, Hold on Hollywood, North Til Dawn, and Kollective Mindz. Come out and rock out!
